Please join us for this monthly guided meditation & satsang (spiritual discussion) with an enlightened Balinese spiritual teacher, Acharya Vibhakarananda Avadhuta (Dada). Enjoy this heart-felt, introspective journey each month as you gather with friends in the spirit of love, harmony and human progress. Enjoy a 3-Course Chef's Tasting Dinner following this hour and a half inspiring exploration.
In 1999, Dada’s strong vision for spirituality led him to a major turning point in his life when he decided to leave his corporate work and immerse himself fully in a devoted path of yoga. He went on to pursue training as a Brahmacarii, junior monk, in Davao-Philippines and Varanasi-India, and continued in India to become a sanyasin, senior yoga monk. From 2001 to 2012, he spent most of his time teaching yoga and meditation in Taiwan and Australia and eventually returned to his native island of Bali, bringing his devotional work home.
Dada is an enlightened spiritual teacher inspired by the philosophy and teachings of Ananda Marga, founded by Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar (aka Shrii Shrii Anandamurti), a philosopher, author, social reformer, humanitarian and spiritual leader. The basis of Ananda Marga weaves continuity with the ancient philosophy of Tantra, infusing new insights in human psychology and social theory with each individual’s role as a spiritual and socio-economic-cultural-political being. The essence of the philosophy combines both the spiritual and the social with a unique synthesis into universal vision, guiding “self-realisation and service to humanity.”
«I have been doing meditation regularly for some years, and many people ask me:
How do I know that I am benefiting from my practice?
The answer is simple.
You know by how much love and empathy you have for all beings.
Love is the sign of progress.
When your love expands to a certain degree, then you know you are progressing, spiritually, and you know your meditation is successful.»
